Aren't most of the acidic substances used in mixes antioxidants?

Wines, citric acids, fruit juices...they all have strong antioxidant
properties, right? Doesn't this interfere in some way with the
oxidation and color uptake? I'm wondering because I'm suddely
obsessed with the idea of coloring with henna and have been reading
the archives, noticing that people were talking about pomegranate
juice, a powerful antioxidant, as a potential color enhancer.
