however, I just did my hair yesterday and I came out with dark brown
hair with some auburn in it. I mixed my henna and waited for dye
release (about 4 hours sitting, I put the bowl in warm water to
accelerate process) and then I mixed the indigo in a separate bowl
(about a half hour for dye release) and then I stirred them both
together in one mixture and then applied to my hair. I think I
acheived the dark brown/a little red color that everyone is
wanting...I have cool skin tones and it matches well - the red from
henna never did.
