Its certainly not impossible that indigo gives you trouble. Also, its
not impossible that the alkalinity of the partially fermented indigo
that I've got is giving you some trouble.

If I had the paste on my head I think I'd have trouble with the lemon
juice nibbling away at my scalp, like a ceviche'. One answer might be
to leave the henna on a shorter time, another might be to use
rainwater rather than lemon juice.

I'd check that forearm test again, too ....
