: How long can you freeze henna, and still get a good stain when it
thaws?
: Is there a time limit? I just hennaed my hair for the first time,
and I
: bought WAY too much. Actually, most of the mix is left over. I'm
: wondering because it would kind of be a waste to just throw it
away, but
: I'd like to have a really dramatic color.
:
You're good for a year or more, as long as the henna is in an
airtight/lightproof container and stays in the freezer. I'd
reccomend getting an old ice cube tray and filling it with henna.
Freeze. Repeat until all of your henna is in frozen cubes, and
store. Then you can thaw just as much as you need at any given time!

: Also, how long does it take for henna to fade or for roots to start
to
: show.

How fast does your hair grow? I never get fading (good quality stuff
shouldn't fade noticably), but my hair grows quickly. It's been a
bit over a month since I hennaed and I have almost 1 cm of regrowth
already.
