trend - henna as styling gel. Perhaps a bit impractical as it would dye everything you
got in contact with...

As for dandruff. If he's willing to try it (no one will see him) - try rinsing with vinegar
(either plain white or apple cider) diluted in water - ideally with a few drops lavender
and rosemary essential oil added. True dandruff is caused by a yeast infection of the
scalp (pitysporeum ovale - if I remember the species correctly). The vinegar will create
a slightly acidic environment at the scalp that will help combat this. Lavender and
rosemary will calm the scalp and they are also slightly anti-fungal/anti-bacterial in
themselves. They will also help mask the scent of the vinegar (which will go away by
itself once hair is dry).
