is too much? Does anyone know whether a large amount of ground cloves
in a mix can be a problem for the scalp or skin?

I want to try upping the amount I have used in my mix; harvest tests
show a 1:4 ratio of cloves to henna gets me a really lovely dark
colour; however in 100g of henna that would be 25g cloves, and I am
just wondering if anybody has ever experienced irritation with cloves
in the mix. In my last mix I used a conservative 10g per 100g henna
and had no problems, but I know clove oil is highly irritating and
wondered about the ground cloves possibly being the same. Its one
thing to have a test mix produce a nice result on a lump of hair, but
you can't predict the outcome on your scalp...
