I am not an expert, but the results of henna are very much a product
of your starting hair color, since henna does not penetrate the
cortex. Rather, it binds to the keratin in your hair, adding more of
a translucent color that becomes more opaque with each application,
but from my understanding it is difficult to get a much darker color
when starting with blonde.

Anyway, I do not believe you will end up with Elektra's color if you
are starting with blonde hair. Perhaps Elektra will correct me and
might have some tips for you--I could be wrong. If you have very
light hair, be very careful with both henna (an ORANGE-RED dye) and
indigo (a BLUE dye). Do a lot of harvest tests first. Good luck and
have fun experimenting. I am guessing henna will make your hair a
very beautiful strawberry blonde, but burgandy might be difficult.

: I just saw Elektra's hair on the mix page, THAT is how I want mine
to
: turn out! I know it can't be exactly the same, but still... hmm...
: what do you guys think?
