I hennaed my hair, for the first time today..I put vaseline around the front of my hairline & my ears, which
seemed to prevent any staining.. I have, however, got a nice orange
stain on the back of my neck (also on my arm, tummy & bottom of my
foot.. don't ask! :op ).. but it doesn't really bother me, as I
have long hair which covers it.
I got the droobly bits down my face & behind my ears (even though my
henna paste was super thick!), but I just kept wedging bits of
cotton wool between my head & my shower cap, which stopped the
droobles. You can also get long cotton wool stuff (hairdressers use
it).. you could wrap a length of that around your hairline, to
prevent dribbly bits
