: Oh and Tara, very much OT, but I had a question...you're the person
: who makes soaps right? I recently got some unrefined shea butter and
: its absolutely gorgeous on my skin and hair. However, try as I
: might, I can't get past the smell. At first I didn't mind it, but I
: seem to be getting sensitised to it and now as soon as I go to use
: it, YUCK! Any ideas on how to fragrance shea butter (don't
: necessarily want to add EO's as I don't really need their therapeutic
: effects in this. Thanks, Tara!

I mix 30-45% shea butter with 55-70% jojoba (depending on the ambient
temperature) and then add small amounts of essential oils. Leleshwa with lemon
tea tree smells particularly pretty. To mix them, I run hot water over the jar or put
it behind my laptop where the fan blows hot air over it. Then I stick it in the fridge.
