Oooh.. I've been dying my hair red, for most of my life, but with
chemical dyes. I fancied a change a couple of years ago, & went
blonde, but it's just not me, so I've been using semi-permanent
colours for the past few months (there's still quite alot of red in
it, so the henna wont be going onto really blonde hair).

I do have body art quality henna.. bought from Ebay. He's a very
helpful chap & that's the stuff I've used on my strand tests & it
seems to be ok.
I left my 'harvest test' on for 6 hours, but have only been able to
leave my strand tests on for 4 hours.. so I'm going to do it on
Sunday, so I have all day, if needs be!

I have a strand test sat on my head, at the mo.. with half lemon
juice, half red wine, a few drops of tea tree EO & some clove powder
thrown in, for good measure, but I think I'll do one tomorrow with
all red wine & no lemon juice.. thanks for that tip :o)

It's being done on Sunday, regardless.. I'm far too impatient to
wait another week! :op
