the only thing I can offer as a curlyhead myself, is that curly hair
is very porous, and can take up the dye from henna very easily. It
could be a good idea to strand test just to see how much time you'll
want to leave it on for how much colour. I only left mine on for
about an hour and got a very vibrant result. Depends on the starting
colour too, I'm sure, and how red you want to go!
