No, you're correct. Often green dye is added to henna powder to make
it appear "fresher"... this is done at the manufacturing end (before
the henna powder is packaged & distributed to Suppliers).
Most people won't be affected by the green dye... Sometimes people
do. I have very sensitive skin so it's fairly certain I will get a
mild rash if my henna powder has green dye in it.
Right now, the Suppliers Listing Agreement does not request that
henna suppliers avoid henna powders with green dye in it. I'll leave
it up to CCJ to make that admin change! Til then, us Suppliers can
only demand that the manufacturers NOT add dye to their henna
powder...
