I recommend the same. Light Mountain is okay, but it's generally full
of sticks, not very fresh, very expensive at health food stores, and
turnes your hair cheez-it orange. I use freshly imported Reshma
Indian henna (less than $3 for 250g), or the body-quality Moroccan
henna that I use for Mehendi in my regular business. Check out
www.tattoo-me.com - they have extremely superior quality body art
henna. They get it straight from Morocco and triple-sift and hand-
test every batch to make sure you're getting what you pay for. It's a
little expensive but I'll tell you it's way worth it. They also carry
it it huge quantities - anywhere from 30g vials to 1 kilo - which is
a HUGE amount of henna! I want to get a kilo so I can use it for hair
and body art - I am not a licensed beautician, but I do have a few
clients who have me henna their hair, since no beauticians do it. I
have worked with henna for hair and body art for seven years and
tried more brands of henna than you can shake a stick at - Tattoo-me
is the best henna I have ever used and has never ever failed me.
Always fresh, beautiful lime green, talcum-powder texture, and the
color is something else!
: I wouldn't recommend ordering Light Mountain Henna anyways, I would
: get body art quality then add herbs to it as needed to shift the
: color some.
