This works although it's a bit more a faff than piling it all on top
of your head - whilst you're hennaing, put an opened-out binliner
over your shoulders. Then when you're finished hennaing, leave your
hair hanging down, wrap the binliner round your hair and over your
head. Tuck the end of the binliner up and pin it with hair grips.
The idea is to make a kind of nun's head thing with the binliner,
but with the end folded over so that you don't get henna drips on
the carpet. Hope this makes sense. It can be useful to have a
friend to help you! Oh yes, and wear old clothes.
