I agree, I think the new grey hairs are always going to turn out
orangey ( I imagine the quality of the henna as well as the
individual's hair type would affect how much henna dye the hair takes
up) but the hennaed greys would blend more easily obviously if your
starting colour is also light. I was very very happy with the grey
coverage I got, however, I think its mostly because they were able to
blend with the rest of my red hair. I can still pick out the ones
that were grey quite readily. I am hoping that by starting to henna
now before I have a significant amount of grey, they'll get a chance
to blend in as repeated hennas darken the colour.
