Hi,

I recently discovered this page, and the wealth of information
available here, and figured I might try my luck and ask if there are
any fellow Swedes here who know of a good henna supplier in Sweden?

So far, I haven't taken the plunge to colour all my hair, but I have
been colouring in the unwelcome greying bits at my temples. It blends
decently with my natural colour, but I am still thinking of dying it
all with henna for a more even look, and then I'd like to have good
quality henna. So any recommendations would be welcome.

So far, I have used primarily the pre-mixed hennas from Lush (the Brun
shade), and although it does come out a nice, dark red-brown colour,
even on the greys, the colour doesn't always take. So, I'd be worried
about doing my whole head with it in case the result is uneven, as it
seems different parts of the bar release different amounts of the dye.

I have also tried a boxed powder, but that one gives a much too
orangey result on the greys. Incidentally, I am concerned after
reading the info here that it might not be as natural as they claim.
Granted, the orange hue could be because its not fresh, but the powder
is also more brownish than green and when mixed with water it produces
a brownish paste, not the greenish one the Lush henna produces, and
the dye release is very quick. The brand is 'Herbique', but they don't
seem to have a webpage, so I haven't been able to find out more about
them.
