: The first time I hennaed my hair, I did a strand test with the
light
: mountain bright red, and the actual color result was bright orange.
: The bright red lm henna should be labled bright orange, or maybe it
: was just that one box? The plain red lm seems to be much less
: orangey and more of a natural red or auburn if you compare the two
: together. BTW,If you have very long hair that requires a large
: amount of henna and use light mountain henna, you will likely have
: a clog in the tub every time. Time to get out the draino! I think
lm
: henna might be cut with some % of sand. I am fairly certain that
: 100% henna does not make a scratching sound when rubbed against
: glass. I could be wrong. Perhaps it is a clue when they say to "add
: water until the mixture is creamy yet sandy."

Henna shouldn't make a sound when rubbed between glass, as I
understand it. Cut with sand, definitely.
