potions master!

My 10 year old Harry Potter obsessed dd has taken to calling me
potions master what with all the mixing and testing I have been
doing. And its a bit like magic when you rinse off the henna and see
the result!

I finally got up the nerve to do a couple of strands ON my head and
the results are so BEAUTIFUL!! I'm really excited. I thought I was a
redhead before, but...!

Catherine if you read this, will you let me know whether its okay to
send you an ordinary film photo and could you scan it and put it up.
I want to send you a picture when I have done my hair but alas, am
lacking in the technology... I could post you a conventional pic.

As I said before, my girls are getting a big kick out of this as
well, and I keep thinking how gorgeous henna would be on their hair!
I feel happy though to be setting an example and doing a bit of
education on how to avoid some of the dangerous chemicals associated
with the beauty industry and the natural options that are out there
when the day inevitably comes that they'll want to mess with their
hair!
